What is Therapeutic Art?

Therapeutic art combines art and psychotherapy, it helps us be more mindful in the moment, reflect on our thoughts and feelings, and achieve better mental wellbeing.. Rather than focusing on the finishing product, the focus is on the process of making art. Incorporating therapeutic art practices into corporate environments can provide employees with valuable tools to navigate stress, enhance self-awareness, and promote a healthier work-life balance.

What can we expect from the process?

During the session, we have a specific goal and topic in mind. Our facilitator will guide you through activities that revolve around the chosen topic, helping you create art that reflects your thoughts and emotions. Throughout the process, there will be opportunities for open dialogue and the exchange of questions between participants and the facilitator. At the end of the session, you'll have the artwork you created to take home with you as a tangible reminder of your exploration.

Do we need to be skilled in art?

Absolutely not! At our therapeutic art sessions, the focus is on embracing the process rather than the artistic outcome. Our facilitators create a non- judgmental environment where your artwork is not evaluated. Our role is to guide you in exploring your internal state, using shapes, colors, and images that hold personal significance to you.
